Route
The Heuberg-Allgäu-Weg begins in Spaichingen and leads to the Dreifaltigkeitsberg . From there it goes over the Großer Heuberg , the lonely highland in the extreme southwest of the Swabian Alb, to Nendingen on the Danube . The hiker reaches the town of Stockach im Hegau via Neuhausen ob Eck and Gallmannsweil . Now the path goes over the heights above the Überlinger See and reaches the shores of the Bodensee in Überlingen .
The main hiking trail 9 now follows the north shore of the lake for a longer stretch. Meersburg , Immenstaad and Friedrichshafen are important stops. The path leaves the lake at Eriskirch and leads to Tettnang .
Now it goes through the Württemberger Allgäu. Via Wangen and Isny you finally come to the Black Ridge, at 1,118 m the highest mountain in the former state of Württemberg , where the Heuberg-Allgäu-Weg ends.
