The Neckarweg is a long-distance hiking trail run by the Swabian Alb Association and the Odenwald Club , which is based on the course of the Neckar and runs from its source in the Schwenninger Moos near Villingen-Schwenningen to the mouth in Mannheim . The section between Bad Wimpfen and Heidelberg corresponds to the Neckarsteig .

Attractions

The Neckarweg leads along the historic cities of Schwenningen , Rottweil , Horb , Rottenburg and Tübingen with their sights. Other interesting cities such as Bad Wimpfen , Heidelberg and Mannheim are on the second section.
