The Hohe Hahn ( Upper Sorbian Honak ) is a 446 meter high mountain in Upper Lusatia .
It is located immediately south of the village of Tröbigau and fits into the northern mountain range of the Lusatian mountains . Other surrounding villages are Naundorf in the northeast, Neukirch / Lausitz in the southeast and Putzkau in the southwest.
Hydrology
On the northern slope of the Hohen Hahn, about 250 meters northeast of the summit at an altitude of 419 meters, there is the source of the longest source brook of the Schwarzwassers , which joins two other spring arms in the Tröbigauer Oberdorf and flows around the Klosterberg to the west. Just under a kilometer further east on the Hohen Hahn at 391 meters is the source of the Naundorf Water , which flows around the Klosterberg to the east and then joins the Schwarzwasser at the Bundesstraße 6 near Spittwitz .
history
The Hohe Hahn was mentioned as Hainnbergh by Matthias Oeder in 1590 . From 1880 to the 1970s, the Lusatian granite was broken in the Opitz quarry on the northern slope of the mountain, which is now evident from a larger residual hole filled with water.
