action

The 26-year-old Ignatius "Ig" Perrish is accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend Merrin, who was found dead in the forest. Few believe Ig's claim that he is innocent. He is constantly being followed by camera teams, and even his parents doubt Ig's innocence. Only his brother Terry and his best friend Lee want to help him. He wakes up one morning with horns on his forehead. In addition, the people around him reveal all their deepest secrets, their hatred and their sins. With this gift he tries to find the real killer of his girlfriend. In doing so, he discovers that many people around him could have something to do with it.

Ig repeatedly recapitulates the moment he last saw Merrin alive. He wanted to ask for Merrin's hand, which she was already waiting for. She pretends not to love him strong enough to marry and ends their relationship at that meeting at a diner. Ig gets angry and sad. He accuses her of having an affair and leaves the diner. He later learns that Merrin was seriously ill and wanted him to go on without her as she was about to die.

Merrin is found leaving the diner a little later by Terry, who comforts her and drives home in the car. Ig suspects Terry of being Merrin's killer after he confesses to being in love with her. Ig later finds out, however, that Merrin was raped by his best friend Lee, because she had not reciprocated his feelings.

Ig transforms into an angel in front of Lee, "falls" in front of him and becomes the devil. He then kills Lee, who shoots him with a shotgun , and dies himself from his injuries from the fight. In the end he is reunited with Merrin in paradise.
