ICY

ICY or Icy were a short-lived band that was formed to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest . The members were Pálmi Gunnarson, Helga Möller and Eiríkur Hauksson , who later represented Iceland and Norway at the ESC.

Participation in the Eurovision Song Contest

In 1986 ICY took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in Bergen with the song Gleðibankinn ( Eng .: "Fun Bank"). They reached number 16.

In the Icelandic national preliminary round, Pálmi Gunnarson sang the song Gleðibankinn alone, ICY was formed later.
