Eiríkur Hauksson
Eiríkur Hauksson (born July 4, 1959 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic singer .
He represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with the song Valentine Lost (isl. Ég les í lófa þínum ). With 13th place he did not get past the semi-finals. However, at the Eurovision Song Contest he has a much more extensive past. When Iceland participated for the first time in 1986 he represented his country with the group ICY with the title "Gleðibankinn" and was 16th out of 20. In 1991 he was for Norway with the group Just 4 Fun and the title Mrs. Thompson at the start and was 17th. von 22. Since 1986 he has been the singer of the Norwegian power metal band Artch .
Before his music career began, he worked as a teacher.
