IC 3362 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 301 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3336 , IC 3367 , IC 3376 , IC 3380 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
