IC 3366 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic , which is an estimated 338 million light years from the Milky Way . In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4417 , NGC 4424 , NGC 4445 , IC 3357 .
The object was discovered by Arnold Schwassmann on February 15, 1900 .
