IC 3363 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type dE7 in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 36 million light years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light years across. It is listed as part of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VVC 965 . In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4407 , NGC 4413 , NGC 4425 , IC 3349 .

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
