IC 3344 is a dwarf galaxy from the Hubble type E? in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 53 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 10,000 ly. The galaxy is listed under catalog number VCC 917 as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster .
The galaxies NGC 4402 , NGC 4446 , IC 3355 , IC 3382 are located in the same area of the sky .
