ISO 3166-2: LK

The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Sri Lanka contains the codes for the 9 provinces (Palata) and 25 districts (Distrikkaya) .

The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Sri Lanka LK), the second the code for the province or the district.

The current country code was last updated in Newsletter II-1 of February 3, 2010 ( PDF ).
