In Kind Direct is a UK non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Prince Charles , heir to the British throne . The organization arranges brand-new donations in kind from companies and manufacturers to charitable organizations in the UK and Northern Ireland that operate both domestically and abroad. Kind Direct is part of the Prince of Wales's charitable work grouped under the name The Prince's Charities . The Prince's Charities is the largest non-profit umbrella organization in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland . Since its inception in 1996, In Kind Direct has brokered over £ 130 million worth of goods from over 925 companies . 6,600 non-profit organizations have received products through In Kind Direct that have already helped millions of people in need .

procedure

In Kind Direct provides a single point of contact for both companies , the goods donate want, and for -profit organizations that need them.
