Ingolf Pfahl (born March 26, 1958 ) is a former German soccer player and current soccer coach .

career

Ingolf Pfahl started his football career at the age of 11 with his brother Jens Pfahl at BSG Lokomotive Riesa under DHfK trainer Rudolf Schneider and was delegated to BSG Stahl Riesa three years later. By 1986, the midfielder played a total of 91 games in the major league for Stahl Riesa, in which he scored three goals. The time in the men's division at Stahl Riesa was characterized by permanent relegation battle and in two seasons ( 1981/82 and 1982/83 ) the team was only represented in the second highest division . At the same time, Pfahl had been studying sport at the DHfK in Leipzig since 1979 .

1986 Pfahl was delegated to BSG Stahl Brandenburg , which had surprisingly qualified for the UEFA Cup the previous season. In Brandenburg, Pfahl was able to establish himself as a regular player alongside Christoph Ringk , Eberhard Janotta and Jens Pahlke until 1989 . Against Coleraine FC and the subsequent UEFA Cup winners IFK Gothenburg he played a total of four Euroapokalpartien . At national level, Pfahl played 71 games for Stahl Brandenburg (3 goals), the best placement was fourth place in the 1987/88 season .

" However, in 1990 he emerged after a total of 162 appearances in the league with six goals again in the second class league in the squad of the FSV Lok Altmark Stendal . Stake remained active there until 1994, when his career again appeared to be nearing its end. However, his former teammate Christoph Ringk persuaded him to help out for another two years - including a year of play in the newly created regional league - as a libero at Stahl's successor BSV Brandenburg .

He then worked as a trainer at SG Rot-Weiß Brandenburg, SV Blau-Weiss Damsdorf and then for six years at SG Lokomotive Brandenburg, before joining the second representation of FC Stahl Brandenburg II, SV Kloster Lehnin and 2012/13 at the BSC Rathenow worked in 1994. After a break, he took over SV Ziesar in 2014 , which he left in April 2016 due to lack of success. In January 2017 he was again a trainer at SG Lokomotive Brandenburg.
