Aissati, son of Moroccan parents, went through the youth department of PSV Eindhoven . There he was part of the PSV professional squad since 2005. At the game against AC Milan on October 19, 2005, Aissati was only 17 years, 2 months and 3 days old, replacing Ryan Babel (then Ajax Amsterdam ) as the youngest Dutchman to appear in the UEFA Champions League . By December 2007 he had played 28 games for PSV, scoring four goals. For the second half of the season he was loaned to FC Twente Enschede . There he gained match experience to strengthen PSV after his return for the 2007/08 season.

For the 2008/09 season, the young talent moved to Ajax Amsterdam to play there more often than at PSV Eindhoven. Due to a serious knee injury, he missed most of the 2008/2009 season. After he was built up through missions in the reserve team, he completed 9 games in the second half of the same season (8 of them in the starting XI). Even under the new coach Martin Jol , he was part of the team as a versatile player. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season, Aissati moved to Vitesse Arnheim on loan .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Antalyaspor .

After a year at Antalyaspor, he moved to the Russian first division club Terek Grozny towards the end of the 2013 summer transfer period . From this he was loaned for the 2016/17 season with Alanyaspor to another first division club in the Turkish province of Antalya . In the summer of 2017 he moved to the Turkish second division side Balıkesirspor .

After 13 appearances in the championship, Aissati switched to league rivals Denizlispor in the second half of the 2017/18 season . Here he developed into a regular player and fan favorite and with his assists he played a key role in staying up in the 2017/18 season and advancing to the 2018/19 Süper Lig.

National team

Aissati was in the squad of the Dutch team at the U-21 European Football Championship in Portugal in 2006 . A year later he was once again part of the Dutch U-21 selection when defending his title in his own country.

On December 30, 2008, the Moroccan football association FRMF announced that Aissati would play for the Moroccan national football team in the future , but he made his debut in August 2011 in a friendly against Senegal .
