Jürgen Ehle (born July 19, 1956 in Beijing ) is a German musician, composer and producer. He plays guitar , mandolin , mandola , bass and banjo , among others .

Life

Jürgen Ehle is the son of a GDR foreign trader. He began his musical career with the band born in 49 , which was founded in 1973 in the GDR from members of the October Club . In 1979 he joined the band 4 PS together with Hans-Jürgen Reznicek , which then, after a short separation period, became Veronika Fischer's backing band again . The 4 HP musicians Franz Bartzsch and Veronika Fischer left the GDR, Rainer Kirchmann and André Herzberg joined 4 HP, which was renamed Pankow from 1981 . This band existed until December 23, 1998. With his dance interludes, he refreshed the videos of Pankow in the 1980s (for example with his air guitar appearance at Rock'n'Roll in the city park ). From 1987 to 1989 he was a member of the all-star band Gitarreros .

From 1994 to 1996 he played with Annette Berr and the band. Since 1994 he has been working with Barbara Thalheim as a guest musician, producer and studio musician. From 1999 to 2002 he was a member of Round The Bend . Since 2000, he played as a guest musician with grubs and occurs together with Scarlett O on. In 2004 Pankow reunited and the live recording of the tour was released on DVD. Since then Jürgen Ehle has been on tour with Pankow irregularly.

In 1996 it became known through André Herzberg's Stasi files that Ehle was working for the Ministry of State Security when IM "Peters" was working for the Ministry for State Security in good faith that he could do something for Pankow and other musician friends .
