Nachtgestalten is a German episode film directed by Andreas Dresen in 1999 . The film was celebrated as a Berlinale competition entry. Michael Gwisdek was awarded the Silver Bear for his convincing performance.

Berlin is preparing for the Pope's visit, but the three unequal couples who stroll sleeplessly through the capital in this film do not experience a holy night. The homeless couple Hanna and Viktor have found 100 marks and are looking in vain for accommodation, the heroin-addicted prostitute Patty has a suitor from the country and the businessman Peschke, waiting for a guest, meets a little Angolan refugee boy at the airport, whom he cannot get rid of.
