Jürgen Wanzlick

Jürgen Wanzlick (* 29. March 1945 ) is a former German cyclist and DDR -Master in cycling .

Athletic career

Wanzlick started for SC Dynamo Berlin and was GDR champion in 1964 with his club mate Jürgen Pommerenke in two-man team driving , in 1966 he won the silver medal with Günter Weihe. He was also runner-up in the team pursuit with SC Dynamo Berlin . In 1969 he won the Great Saxony Prize and was second on the annual best list of the GDR Cycling Association. In that year he also celebrated his greatest success with victory in the Tour of Romania . In 1970 he won road races in Hungary and Bulgaria . In 1971 he was runner-up in the team time trial with his club and ended his career at the end of the season.
