Jack Robinson (born September 1, 1993 in Warrington ) is an English football player. At sixteen years and 250 days, the 1.80 m tall defender was the youngest player to ever play for Liverpool , breaking Max Thompson's record . He has been under contract with Sheffield United since 2020 .

Career

Liverpool FC

He made his debut on May 9, 2010 when he came on in the 87th minute in the last game of the season against Hull City for Ryan Babel . With his substitution, at the age of sixteen and 250 days, he is the youngest player to appear in a competitive match for Liverpool FC.

On September 22, he came in the third round of the League Cup against Northampton Town again to use. The game was won 4-2 on penalties. On December 2, he came to a use against Steaua Bucharest at 1-1 in the preliminary round in the Europa League . On April 17, 2011 he came to his second Premier League appearance when he came on in the 22nd minute for the injured Fabio Aurelio , against Arsenal. The game ended 1-1. On April 23, he made his starting line-up debut in a 5-0 win over Birmingham City .

After signing José Enrique Sánchez from Newcastle United , Robinson only made two appearances. On August 24, 2011 in the 3-1 away win against Exeter City and on September 21 in the 2-1 away win against Brighton & Hove Albion . Each in the league cup. On October 31, he signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool FC .

In February 2013 he was loaned to Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season. In the summer Robinson was loaned to Blackpool FC .

On August 28, 2014 Robinson moved to the Queens Park Rangers . He signed a four-year contract until June 30, 2018 and was loaned to Huddersfield Town until the end of the season.

On June 30, 2018, Robinson signed a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest . Six months before the end of his contract in Nottingham, Robinson moved to first division club Sheffield United in January 2020 .
