Jade Tree Records

Jade Tree is a US-based Independent - Label of Wilmington , which was founded in August 1991 by Darren Walters and Tim Owen. Walters and Owen each previously owned the independent Straight Edge - Hardcore Punk record labels Hi-Impact Records and Axtion Packed Records . With their new label, which they founded not least because of the falling demand in this genre, they initially signed post-hardcore and noise rock bands, and later also increasingly bands with emo , punk and melodic hardcore styles . Her currently most successful bands in the USA are Lifetime , Jets to Brazil , Strike Anywhere , Kid Dynamite and Pedro the Lion , some of which are also known in Europe. After the last Paint It Black album was released in February 2008 and bands like Fucked Up and These Arms Are Snakes left , Jade Tree hasn't released any new records for a year. In February 2009 a single from Cloak / Dagger was released .
