Jan Řehula (born November 15, 1973 in Cheb ) is a former Czech triathlete . He was third in the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Career

In 1999 he was runner-up in Europe on the short distance triathlon in Portugal. In 2000, triathlon competitions were held for the first time as part of the Summer Olympics. Jan Řehula started in Sydney for the Czech Republic and reached third place.

In July 2004 Řehula became vice-European champion in the Xterra-Cross-Triathlon.
In 2009 he won the Korea Triathlon Jeju over the Ironman distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

After finishing his active career, he coached the Korean triathlon team. He lives in Plzeň with his two children .
