Jesse Dylan (* 6. January 1966 as Jesse Byron Dylan in New York City ) is an American film director and CEO of the production company Wondros.

Life

Jesse Byron Dylan was born in New York City , the first child of musicians Bob Dylan and Sara Dylan . He has two brothers, Samuel and Jakob Luke , a sister Anna and a half-sister Maria. His half-sister was later adopted by his father, but gave up his last name after their parents divorced in 1977. Dylan attended New York University film school and worked on music videos.

He is married to actress Susan Traylor and has two children. His in-laws are the acting teachers William Traylor and Peggy Feury .

Career

He made his directorial debut in 1993 with the short film Skid Row: No Frills Video . In 1995 he worked for a music - documentary , the video A Face in the Crowd , as director. In 2001 Dylan directed the stoner comedy So High , collaborating with Method Man , Redman and Hector Elizondo .
