Johannes Reitberger
Johannes Reitberger (* 1924 in Aichach ) is a retired German diplomat .
Life
After serving in World War II , Johannes Reitberger studied Philology , German and Newspaper Studies, and was awarded a Dr. Phil. PhD was then editor, joined the Foreign Service and was in Bonn Canberra , Dakar and Istanbul busy.
From 1973 to 1974 he had exequatur as consul general in Basel , was ambassador to Niamey ( Niger ) between 1975 and 1979 and ambassador to Lomé ( Togo ) between 1979 and 1983 . From 1983 to 1985 Reitberger was ambassador to Port of Spain ( Trinidad and Tobago ) and at the same time to the governments in Saint John’s ( Antigua and Barbuda ), Bridgetown ( Barbados ), Roseau ( Dominica ), St. George’s ( Grenada ), Georgetown ( Guyana) ), Castries ( St. Lucia ), Kingstown ( St. Vincent and the Grenadines ) and Paramaribo ( Suriname ). During his term in office, the US invasion of Grenada fell on October 25, 1983 .
