Junkersdorf was first mentioned in a document in a fief book in 1303 when "Giving de Rugheim" took the tithe in Junkersdorf. In 1317 Wolf von Stein received his tithe in "Gunkersdorf". In 1406 Landgrave Friedrich von Thuringia and the Würzburg Prince-Bishop of Würzburg Johann agreed on jurisdiction .

According to a state treaty between the Grand Duchy of Würzburg and the Duchy of Saxony-Hildburghausen , the Ganerbendorf Junkersdorf, which had previously belonged to the Saxon Office of Königsberg, was ceded to Würzburg in 1807 . At that time the place had 69 houses with 213 inhabitants.

In 1862 Junkersdorf was incorporated into the newly created royal Bavarian district office of Königshofen . The rural community consisted of the former parish village and the wasteland of Zinkenmühle, 1.5 kilometers away . In 1871 it had 283 residents, all of whom were Protestants, and 64 residential buildings. There was a Protestant school in Junkersdorf. In 1900 the rural community was assigned to the newly founded District Office Hofheim . The 544.55 hectare community had 294 residents and 58 residential buildings. In 1925, 269 people, 6 of whom were Catholic, lived in 57 residential buildings in Junkersdorf. The place belonged to the district of the Catholic parish in Hofheim.

In 1950 the community had 321 residents and 55 residential buildings. The Evangelical Lutheran parish was united with Unfind parish . Parish seat was nowhere to be found. In 1961 Junkersdorf had 266 residents and 57 residential buildings. In 1970 there were 269 residents and in 1987 221 residents and 61 residential buildings with 67 apartments.

On July 1, 1972, the Hofheim district was dissolved as part of the regional reform and Junkersdorf became part of the Haßberg district. On January 1, 1974, the Junkersdorf community was incorporated into the city of Königsberg.
