Kâni Vrana

Kâni Vrana (born July 13, 1913 in Skopje ; † June 17, 1984 ) was a Turkish lawyer and from 1975 to 1978 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court .

career

Vrana graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1938 and worked as a magistrate in Gündoğmuş County in Antalya Province from 1941 . On September 16, 1959, he was elected a member of the Court of Cassation of Turkey and was active between 1963 and 1970 as a member and president of the High Electoral Council ( Yüksek Seçim Kurulu , YSK). He was made a full member of the Constitutional Court on October 7, 1970 and was elected President of the Constitutional Court on October 1, 1975. He held this office until July 13, 1978.
