Ömer Lütfi Akadlı

Ömer Lütfi Akadlı (born July 8, 1902 in Istanbul , † May 31, 1988 ) was a Turkish lawyer and from 1964 to 1966 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court .

career

Akadlı graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1923 and was appointed to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Sürmene in Trabzon Province in 1928. On June 14, 1950, he was appointed a member of the Court of Cassation of Turkey . In 1960 and 1961 he was involved in drafting the new constitution .

On May 2, 1962, he was appointed a full member of the Constitutional Court and on December 2 of the same year he was elected Vice-President of the Court. On October 7, 1964 he became President of the Constitutional Court and was in office until July 8, 1966.
