Muhittin Taylan

Muhittin Taylan (born July 13, 1910 in Sivas ; † January 19, 1983 ) was a Turkish lawyer and from 1971 to 1975 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court .

career

Taylan graduated from Ankara University Law School in 1933 . In 1934 he was appointed to the public prosecutor's office in Tercan County, Erzincan Province , and in 1955 was appointed a member of the Turkish Court of Cassation .

On December 1, 1965, following a nomination by the University Council, he was appointed a full member of the Constitutional Court, where he was elected President in 1971. He held this office until July 14, 1975.
