Rifat Orhan Göksu

Rifat Orhan Göksu (born July 14, 1901 in the Ermenek district / Karaman province , † October 12, 1988 ) was a Turkish lawyer and from 1965 to 1966 Vice President of the Constitutional Court .

career

Göksu completed his law degree at Ankara University on July 8, 1930 and between 1931 and 1937 worked, among other things, as a public prosecutor in Menemen County in Izmir Province and as a justice of the peace in Ankara . He was later elected a member of the State Council and on May 21, 1954 a member of the Conflict of Competence Court. From February 9, 1955 he was chairman of the fifth senate at the State Council.

On May 24, 1962 Göksu was appointed a full member of the Turkish Constitutional Court and on June 12, 1965 was elected vice-president. He held this office until July 14, 1966.
