Ömer Lütfi Ömerbaş

Ömer Lütfi Ömerbaş (born July 18, 1914 in Trabzon ; † January 13, 2000 ) was a Turkish lawyer and Vice President of the Constitutional Court from 1967 to 1971 .

career

Ömerbaş concluded in 1936 his legal studies at the University of Ankara and was active from 1938 as a judge. In 1949 he was appointed rapporteur to the Court of Cassation and in 1957 a member of the Court of Cassation.

In 1962 he was made a full member of the Constitutional Court and on February 11, 1967, he was elected Vice President. He held this office until March 2, 1971, and retired on July 18, 1979.
