İbrahim Hilmi Senil

İbrahim Hilmi Senil (born July 14, 1903 in Heraklion , † February 25, 1981 ) was a Turkish lawyer and from 1966 to 1968 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court .

career

Senil graduated from the Darülfünun Law Faculty in 1930 and worked as an advisory lawyer at the Turkish Ministry of Economic Affairs. In 1947 he became a member of the State Council and a year later he became a member of the conflict of jurisdiction court . On September 22, 1959, he was elected President of the State Council and was confirmed in this post after the military coup of 1960.

On May 27, 1962, he was made a full member of the Constitutional Court, where he was elected President on July 8, 1966 and held the office until July 14, 1968.
