Kai (Chongqing)

Location of Kai County in Chongqing

Kai ( Chinese 开县 ) is a southwestern district of the government- immediate city of Chongqing .

Kai County is located in the northeast of the Chongqing administrative area. It has an area of 3,959 km². In the 2000 and 2010 censuses, the quay had 1,408,116 and 1,160,336 inhabitants, respectively. It has a population density of 293.1 inhabitants per km².
