Kamionka (German: Glashagen ) is a small town in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural community of Chociwel ( Freienwalde in Pomerania ) in the Stargardzki powiat ( Stargard district in Pomerania ).

Geographical location and transport links

Kamionka is located on the south-western edge of the Iński Park Krajobrazwoy ( Nörenberg Landscape Protection Park ) on a side road, the Ińsko ( Nörenberg , 8 km) with Kamienny Most ( Steinhöfel , 3 km) and the Polish state road 20 (former German Reichsstraße 158 , 4 km) and Chociwel ( Freienwalde , 7 km) connects. There is no train connection.

history

The village formerly called Glashagen was founded as a Vorwerk by Steinhöfel and until 1945 was a village within the unified municipality of Steinhöfel- Nöblin (Kamienny Most-Lublino). It was in the district of Saatzig in the administrative district of Stettin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . Since 1945, the village with the (very common) Polish name Kamionka has been incorporated into the Gmina Chociwel in the Stargardzki powiat of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Szczecin Voivodeship ).

Ecclesiastically, Glashagen was parish into the Protestant parish Steinhöfel in the parish of Freienwalde in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . In the last years before 1945 it was looked after by the pastor in Zeinicke (Ścienne). Since 1945 Kamionka has belonged to the Catholic parish Chociwel in the Deanery Ińsko in the Archdiocese of Stettin-Cammin of the Catholic Church in Poland . Evangelical church members are now incorporated into the Trinity Church parish in Stettin in the diocese of Wroclaw of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
