The canton Anglet-Sud was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Bayonne in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Aquitaine . Guy Mondorge was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2008 to 2015.
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "District of Ustaritz". With the founding of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the Bayonne arrondissement.

The canton bordered on the north with the canton Anglet-Nord , in the east on the canton Bayonne-Ouest , in the south on the canton Ustaritz and in the west on the canton Biarritz-Est .

The canton comprised part of the municipality of Anglet (19,452 inhabitants). Anglet was divided into 2 cantons, this was the more populous part of the city.
