The canton of Arzacq-Arraziguet was 2015 a French constituency in the Arrondissement Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Aquitaine . Bernard Dupont was last representative on the General Council of the Department from 2004 to 2015.
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Orthez District". With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the Orthez arrondissement. On September 10, 1926, the Orthez arrondissement was dissolved and the canton was added to the Pau arrondissement.

geography
The canton bordered in the north on the cantons Hagetmau and Geaune in the arrondissement Mont-de-Marsan in the department of Landes , in the northeast on the canton Garlin , in the east on the canton Thèze , in the south on the canton Lescar and in the west on the canton Arthez- de-Bearn .
