The canton of Tardets-Sorholus was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Oloron-Sainte-Marie , in Pyrénées-Atlantiques and in the region of Aquitaine ; its main town was Tardets-Sorholus . Arnaud Villeneuve was the last representative in the General Council of the Department from 2011 to 2015.

history

The canton was initially called (1790) Canton de Tardets, which was merged with Sorholus on April 17, 1859. At that time the canton consisted of only ten municipalities: Haux, Laguinge-Restoue, Larrau, Licq-Athérey, Montory, Sainte-Engrâce, Sauguis , Sorholus, Tardets and Trois-Villes.
