The Canton Orthez was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and in the region of Aquitaine ; its main town was Orthez . Bernard Moléres was a representative in the General Council of the Département from 1994 to 2015, last re-elected in 2008. The canton was 183.32 km² and had 16,723 inhabitants (2006), which corresponded to a population density of 91 inhabitants per km². It was on average 133 meters above sea ​​level .
