The canton Pamiers-Ouest was a French canton in the Ariège department and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised eleven parishes in the Pamiers arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Pamiers . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
