The canton of Pamiers-Est was a French constituency in the Ariège department and the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised ten parishes in the Pamiers arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Pamiers . The canton Pamiers-2 took its place . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
