Les Pujols ( Occitan Les Pujòls ) is a French commune with 805 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the Pamiers and the canton Pamiers-2 (until 2015: canton Pamiers-Est ). The inhabitants are called Pujolais .

location

Les Pujols is about nine kilometers east-southeast of Pamiers . At its eastern municipal boundary , the Douctouyre flows into the Grand Hers and is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Amadou in the north, Saint-Félix-de-Tournegat in the northeast, Vals in the east, Rieucros in the east and southeast, Les Issards in the southeast, Arvigna in the South and Southeast, Coussa in the South and Southwest, Verniolle in the West and Southwest and La Tour-du-Crieu in the West and Northwest.

Les Pujols airfield is located in the municipality.
