The canton of Saint-Lizier was a French canton in the Ariège department and the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It included 16 parishes in the arrondissement of Saint-Girons ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Saint-Lizier . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
