The Canton Vicdessos is a former French canton in the department of Ariege and in the region of Midi-Pyrénées . It comprised ten parishes in the Arrondissement Foix ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Vicdessos . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

As one of the largest cantons of the Arrondissement Foix in terms of area , it was located in the triangle of Andorra - Spain - France; its highest point was at 3140 m in the municipality of Auzat , which was also the largest town in the canton.
