Illier-et-Laramade ( Occitan : Ilièr e la Ramada ) is a French commune with 25 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ariège department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Foix and the canton Sabarthès (until 2015: canton Vicdessos ). The residents call themselves Illiermadois .
geography
Illier-et-Laramade is located about 20 kilometers south-southwest of Foix in the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Nature Park . Illier-et-Laramade is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lapège in the north and east, Capoulet-et-Junac in the east, Siguer in the south-east, Lercoul in the south, Vicdessos in the south-west and Orus in the west.
