Cos is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Baulou in the north and north-west, Vernajoul in the north and north-east, Foix in the east and south-east, Saint-Pierre-de-Rivière in the south and south-west and Saint-Martin-de-Caralp in the west and north-west.
