Lercoul ( Occitan : Lercol ) is a French commune with 22 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Foix and the canton Sabarthès (until 2015: canton Vicdessos ). The residents call themselves Lercouliens .

Lercoul is located about 21 kilometers south-southwest of Foix in the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Nature Park . Lercoul is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Illier-et-Laramade in the north,
- Siguer in the east,
- Ordino (Andorra) in the south,
- Auzat in the west and south-west,
- Val-de-Sos with Goulier and Sem in the west,
- Vicdessos to the west and northwest.
