Burret is located around ten kilometers west of Foix in the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Nature Park on a hill above the valley of the Arget River . The municipality borders on Alzen to the north-west, Serres-sur-Arget to the north and north - east, Ariège to the south-east and Le Bosc to the south and south-west .
