The Karjala Cup 2002 was the sixth edition of the ice hockey tournament taking place in Finland since 1996 . This tournament is part of the Euro Hockey Tour , in which the national teams of Finland , Sweden , Russia and the Czech Republic compete. The 2001/02 season competition was not played until the end of the season in April. The trophy for the following season 2002/03 was held in November of the same year .
