The Izvestia Cup 1980 ( Russian Турнир на приз газеты Известия , German: tournament for the prize of the newspaper " Известия " , German Izvestia , i.e. news ) was the 14th staging of the international ice hockey tournament , which this year from 16th to on Dec. 21 took place the 1980th In addition to the Soviet Sbornaja , the national teams of Finland , Sweden and Czechoslovakia took part again.
