The Euro Hockey Tour 2011/12 was a series of international ice hockey tournaments between the national teams of Finland , Sweden , Russia and the Czech Republic . The 2011/12 season included the Karajala Cup in November 2011, the Channel One Cup in December 2011, the Oddset Hockey Games in February 2012 and the KAJOTbet Hockey Games in April 2012. The overall ranking of all four tournaments was won by the Czech national team won.

Prize money

The following prize money was distributed to those placed in the individual tournaments and the overall ranking:

Individual tournaments
  1. Place: 50,000 euros
  2. Place: 30,000 euros
  3. Place: 25,000 euros
  4. Place: 15,000 euros
Overall rating
  1. Place: 75,000 euros
  2. Place: 30,000 euros
  3. Place: 15,000 euros

Thus, due to the placements, the Czech Republic received a total of 190,000 euros, Russia and Finland 140,000 euros each and Sweden received 130,000 euros during the Euro Hockey Tour season 2011/2012.

Tournaments

Karjala Cup

The Karjala Cup 2011 was held from November 10th to 13th 2011 in Helsinki (main venue) and Örnsköldsvik . The winner of the tournament was the Russian national team.

Channel One Cup

The Channel One Cup 2011 was held from December 15 to 18, 2011 in the Megasport Arena in Moscow (main venue) and Chomutov . The Swedish national team won the tournament with two wins and one loss.

Oddset Hockey Games

The Oddset Hockey Games 2012 took place from February 9th to 12th, 2012 in the Malmö Arena in Malmö (main venue). The match between Finland and Russia was played in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in front of over 25,000 spectators. The Swedish national team won the tournament with two wins and one overtime loss.

KAJOTbet Hockey Games

The KAJOTbet Hockey Games 2012 took place from April 26th to 29th, 2012 in the Kajot Arena in Brno , Czech Republic . The game between Russia and Finland was played in Saint Petersburg . The Finnish national team won the tournament with three wins.
