The Izvestia Cup 1976 ( Russian Турнир на приз газеты Известия , German: tournament for the prize of the newspaper " Izvestia " , German Izvestia , ie. News ) was the 10th edition of the international ice hockey tournament , which this year from 16. to on Dec. 21 took place the 1976th In addition to the Soviet Sbornaja , the national teams of Finland , Sweden and Czechoslovakia took part again. For the first time this year, the winner of the WHA - the Canadian team of the Winnipeg Jets - was invited.
