The 1998 Česká Pojišťovna Cup was the fifth edition of the ice hockey tournament that has been taking place in the Czech Republic since 1994 and the first under the new name of the Česká Pojišťovna Cup. In 1996 the tournament was part of the new Euro Hockey Tour , in which the national teams of Sweden , the Czech Republic , Russia and Finland compete for the unofficial title of the best European national team.

The 1998 games took place in Zlín from 3 to 6 September in front of a total of 22,770 spectators . The Swedish national team won the tournament for the first time.
