Katharina Wöppermann , also Katharina Mayer-Wöppermann , (* 1962 in Vienna ) is an Austrian stage and production designer .

Life

Katharina Wöppermann studied stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna , graduating in 1986 with a Magistra. Since 1983 she has been working as a freelance costume and production designer, among other things, she has worked repeatedly with the directors Barbara Albert and Jessica Hausner and director Götz Spielmann . For example, she worked as a stage and costume designer at the Bregenz Festival and the Raimundspiele Gutenstein .

From the mid-1990s, she was a lecturer for film, television and video at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz at the Institute for Stage Design for over 20 years . At the FrauenFilmTage 2015 she was honored with a "Personal". Katharina Wöppermann is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and the Association of Austrian Film Outfitters (VÖF).
